Aluminum Building Facades

Intus Facades
Impressive building facades have become critical component of urban design.   Dwindling energy reserves and rising CO2 emissions demand the energy-saving features of  Intus façade solutions for critical sustainability initiatives.
Intus harmonizes the technological and architectural demands for energy-saving with architecturally beautiful  modular aluminum facades and skylights systems.  These solutions enable the design-build community to achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency, security, automation, and design.

The tried and tested thermally insulated mullion / transom facade systems FW 50+ / FW 60+ can be used to create impressive vertical facades and skylights - particularly with large module widths and installation heights, and facetted inwards or outwards. Roof types: from monopitch roofs through to arched heads with wide spans for large projects, e.g. shopping centers or administration buildings. In addition, the .HI high insulation or .SI super insulation systems comply with the latest energy-saving regulations.

• Narrow profile face widths of 1 31/32” or 2 12/32 “ (50mm or 60 mm)
• Large module widths and installation heights can be used with glass loads of up to 6 kN
• A wide range of cover caps offer outstanding design options for a variety of facade styles, e.g. visible screw-fitted caps, flat cover caps or steel look cover caps
• FW 50+ / FW 60+ can be created with a horizontal or vertical accent, held in position on 2 sides
• Bullet resistance, burglar resistance and blast resistance options
• Can also be used as a fire-resistant facade (BF)
• Concealed integration of a lightning conductor device in the facade system
• Skylights can be combined with all Schüco Royal S roof vents
• Quick and easy installation due to a high degree of prefabrication

FW 50+ CW: Ventilated / non-ventilated facades and FW 60+ CW: ventilated / non-ventilated facades can accommodate all smooth-faced panels and are supplied with all the necessary wall attachment fittings and substructure fittings. Another advantage is the significant reduction in construction time as facade fabrication and interior building work can be done in parallel.
Intus combined with Schucco solutions offer the perfect combination of comfort and well-being: the thermally insulated timber add-on constructions Schüco FW 50+ AOT and FW 60+ AOT for vertical facades as well as skylights and roof glazing (FW 60+ AOT only) offer attractive options for harmonious architectural solutions. The systems can be combined with natural timber substructures to support large span widths.
The compatibility of Schüco window and door insert units provides additional architectural freedom. The thermally insulated timber add-on constructions Schüco Facade FW 50+ AOT and FW 60+ AOT for vertical facades as well as skylights and roof glazing (FW 60+ AOT only) represent the perfect combination of hi-tech features with attractive comfort.
